Krabi province is located at the shore to the Andaman Sea on the South-West coast of Thailand and is home of the best beaches in the world. There are about 130 islands belonging to the province and you can easily travel to the popular locations nearby such as Koh Phi Phi (It’s the one famous for the filming of the wretched movie “The Beach.”) , Koh Phi Phi Don (part of the Phi Phi Islands), Railay Beach, Ao Nang, Had Yau, Koh Jum, Koh Lanta and Phuket.
Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) Phang Nga, Surat Thani (in where Koh Samui and Koh tao are) , Nakhon Si Thammarat and Trang. The Phuket province to the west is also neighboring, but without any land boundary.
