How to use the rule of space to improve your photography

The rule of space is a commonly known rule that can improve all Toronto Wedding Photographers portfolio. If your subject is not looking directly into the camera, or looks into or out of the frame, there should be enough space for the person to look into. Your skill in applying this rule will create intrigue in the minds of your viewers. This style of photography can even be applied to moving subjects. Try giving more space for fast action shots.

Putting space in front or behind your subject can give your photographs a different emotion within your viewers. A bride and groom that is running and has space behind means they are leaving quickly. However, if you put the space in front of them, then it may suggest they are leaving with a specific place in mind. Not revealing where their destination is allows the viewer to imagine “where are they going”. Practice this rule and you will find your photography improving.
